The quality and performance of Pretech helms, cables and accessories has been well proven over the many years we have sold them. We have three helms available. The 500015 Pretech 3000 Gen II is the workhorse in the range. A very capable unit with great reliability, it is a low-cost and high-performance helm for vessels up to approximately 7.5m.
The 500016 Pretech ZTS Gen II is our best helm. The ZTS stands for Zero Torque System and it works! Our customers report hands-free performance when correctly installed with finger-tip control. This is as close as you can get to hydraulic performance in a cable system.
Both these systems come with a bezel kit.
Our third helm, the D2900, is a direct replacement for Morse-type helms. It is a great way to upgrade to Pretech performance for a very low price. It is supplied with a 90 degree bezel kit.
